South Africa’s roller sports teams participated on the world stage in Italy for the World Skate Games 2024. Our national teams, competing in Inline Speed Skating, Artistic Roller Skating, Skateboarding, and Roller Hockey, showcased their talent and determination, representing the vibrant spirit of South African sports.
World Skate Games is a multi-sport World Championships event held every two years for World Skateโs 12 roller sports. It is one of the most significant events in the global roller sports calendar and it brings together the best athletes from around the world, with an estimated participation of over 12,000 people from 100 countries worldwide.
South Africa, led by our national federation Roller Sport SA, participated in four disciplines in September 2024: Artistic Roller Skating, Inline Speed Skating, Skateboarding, and Roller Hockey.
